LUCAS COUNTY HEALTH STATISTICS- ONLINE RESOURCE DIRECTORY
"While I was serving as a nurse in the emergency room, a woman came in with an open wound on her breast- the cancer had broken through her skin. Her daughter forced her to come to the hospital. She also knew someone who had the same condition...There was a failure of the health care system, a lack of knowledge, and a lack of trust..."- Toledo-Lucas County Commission on Minority Health Committee Member
